Our roots are steeped in Italian food history
Gourmio was created after a summer holiday in Puglia, a beautiful agricultural region in the ‘heel’ of Italy. Here, Marco discovered burrata, the special cheese of Puglia, and as he took his first bite he had his ‘eureka moment’ that grew the seed of Gourmio.
Founder and CEO
Marco has spent 20 years in food, specialising in production processes,
customer service and regulation. His family also make award-winning
aceto balsamico vinegar!
Giorgio is former CEO of a compound feed business in Italy. He specialises
in supply chain and is a member of Italy’s oldest club for gastronomes.
Carlo Robiglio is the founding chairman and CEO of Ebano S.p.A., the holding company operating mainly in the publishing and digital economy sector. He is member of the General Board of Confindustria for the 2015-2017 period. He is vice president of the Board Member of the Sole 24 Ore S.p.A
Co-founder and Agri-business professor
Claudio teaches an MA in food marketing and agribusiness supply chain in Italy.
He helped Marco develop Gourmio and his graduates now work in our London office.
